As a Colorado native who has spent time living in New England, I realize that despite the beauty of the Rocky Mountains, the mid-coast of Maine calls to me like a siren song. Each year when I head to the granite shores of this spectacular state, my creative juices just seem to come alive as I marvel at the lush forests and unceasing ocean waves.

This is also where my best friend encouraged me to lean into my desire to write as we listened to birdsong, sipped mimosas and watched lobstermen bring in their daily catch. And so began my writing journey.

While I have dreams of a novel in my future, I never want to lose sight of the joy of sharing stories - that for a short while, capture the imagination and musings of my readers.
